No title - expert review On a side street a block from the Vatican Museums, this family-operated hotel offers excellent value in a neighborhood with moderately priced shops and restaurants. A spiffy lobby and ample lounges, a tavern, terraces, and roof gardens are some of the perks, as is an exercise room equipped with step... fodors.com
No title - expert review Named after the three brothers who run it (Luigi, Enrico, and Paolo), this friendly guesthouse was built as an apartment house in 1908 in a bland residential neighborhood. The guest rooms are comfortable, albeit a bit small, with unremarkable contemporary furniture and cramped but modern-looking bat... frommers.com

WUT A GREAT PLACE!!! - user review I cant wait to return to Hotel Alimandi. We actually had a nice view of the street below. The gelateria a few steps away was a plus. Also, in the appartment across the street, we made a friend. A hairy 25 year old who called himself Mike. We would try to speak to him across the street with the shutt... fodors.com
Fabulous Small Hotel - user review I chose the Hotel Alimandi based on the Fodor's Choice rating and could not have been more pleased. I was able to make reservations online thru the hotel's website, and the hotel's free shuttle to and from the Rome airport made my first trip to Italy a bit easier. You need to be aware that here are ... fodors.com
Do not stay here....not worth it - user review I stayed here in Sept 2005, and i just checked out today. I decided on this place since it was Fodors Choice...it was really a bad experience. I have stayed in many hotels, both as a budget traveler and for business, and this was just a poor experience all around. The staff are inconsiderate and rud... fodors.com

Location, Location, Location - user review We had an excellent stay at the Alimandi. The service and room were great. The food in the morning was unbelievable and the chef (Fernando) was very friendly and warm. The hotel is so close to all the sites and transportation that we returned our rental car on the second day of our stay. From their ... fodors.com
You can´t do better than Hotel Alimandi on Viale Vaticano - user review We just spent 5 great nights at the Hotel Alimandi on Viale Vaticano, and couldn't be more pleased with our choice. We had three in a room and had plenty of space in a newly renovated room. The morning buffet was well done and offered a variety of foods. The location was literally across the street ... fodors.com
Say hello to Francesco! - user review We really enjoyed the Alimandi particularly the breakfast cooked daily by Francesco! The rooftop garden was a lovely way to start the day. We spent quite a bit of time at the Vatican/St. Peters so location was great. Also very close to metro stop. Other benefits included the airport shuttle, comfort... fodors.com
Disappointing - user review We stayed at the 3 hotel at Christmas which may have been the problem. Our travel agent had raved about the place but our rooms, although clean, were extremely small and somewhat shabby with few amenities. They were unbearably hot at night but cold during the day because they turn the heat off. The f... fodors.com
A great value and pleasant experience - user review We stayed here in early November, 2004. At 150 Euro's per night, it was a good value. Free van to and from the airport saved 100 Euro alone. There was a good hot breakfast, including meat and eggs on the covered rooftop. Free in room safe, too. Two Euro beers in the lobby. Internet kiosk at one Euro... fodors.com
Best Value in Italy - user review We stayed here in March 2003. It was in the top of value of all the hotels we stayed in in Italy. GREAT breakfast (not a puny little rolls and coffee)! Very convenient to the Vatican. There is a terrific open air market about 2 blocks away. Located in an area where the locals shop so much better val... fodors.com
