No title - user review Good things were: parking is available. (Even if the lot is full, you can still park on the streets around. It's tough to find space, though.) The beds weren't bunk beds, and there was enough space for luggage. Breakfast is included (well, only a bagel and coffee). What I didn't like is that it's fa... hostelz.com
No title - user review Great hostel and great location. Clean, friendly staff, organized events, game room. Hostel Internationls are always a bit on the pricey side, but usually worth it (any hotel in this area of Chicago would run at least $200/night). If you're driving, keep in mind parking near the Hostel is $18/night.... hostelz.com
No title - user review I got a private room so I could get some sleep (after staying in New York). Unfortunately the room was in a bad location, so I got to hear the lift open and close, the washing machine/dryer, people in the kitchen, the TV and music from the lobby, and worst of all, the public phone that was located o... hostelz.com
No title - user review I just stayed at the hostel last weekend. We had a private room and it apparently was too much of a hassle to clean the room and the bathroom properly. We complained about the bathroom, because I can live with a lot, but other people's hair in my bathtub and sink is just icky. They never swept the f... hostelz.com

No title - user review I stayed here a lot when I was in college and I now live in Chicago. The hostel is clean and well run. There is free parking (which is very rare), so that's an added bonus. It's really close to the train, and the neighborhood has plenty of really good, inexpensive places to eat and drink. Chicago is... hostelz.com
No title - user review I travel to Chicago a lot. The gentleman, Dave, who works here, is really an asset to this place. I stayed in room 101 and it was awesome. Another time I stayed in room 310. It was a super room and inexpensive. This is the best hostel in the world. You have got to stay here. I loved the kitchen and ... hostelz.com
No title - user review It is dirty and totally unorganized!!! They overbooked the beds so that people had to sleep in the lobby. Some of the people working there are so rude and unfriendly. And you don't get what you paid for. I paid for a 5 bed room and had to stay for the whole time in a 7 bed room. The breakfast is poo... hostelz.com
No title - user review Strange hostel; well run but not very much atmosphere. We only stayed here so we could have a private room, but it just turned out to be a normal dorm room that only we stayed in!! It's a bit far away from downtown Chicago, but it did have a station very close by with 24 hour trains. We didn't like ... hostelz.com
No title - user review This hostel is good and bad in equal proportions. The entrance hall, communal areas and kitchen are very good. However the authoritarian attitude of the management here made me feel like I was 5, not 25!! They say there is no curfew but you are banned from your room from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. (even a... hostelz.com

No title - user review Very disappointed with our week stay. Some staff friendly, others very rude. Hostel unclean, we were in a private room and the bin wasn't emptied for the whole week. Train noise unbearable and they run regularly twenty four hours a day. Bathrooms don't even have soap and showers not nice. Regularly ... hostelz.com
No title - user review We had a very bad experience here. We experienced unfriendly service, the beds had strange hairs on them and the sheets, pillows and blankets were smelly and definitely needed an airing. It didn't end there. The bathroom was not at all private and the showers gave us nightmares. It was in a nice nei... hostelz.com
