Drvenik is a place with a population of 510 situated in the costal area of Makarska, on the Adriatic freeway. The ruins of the 17C tower are located above the village. In one of the forest covered coves is a fresh water spring. From here a frequent ferry line connects Drvenik with island of Hvar.
