Small room and poor value - user review I stayed in room 207 at the Astoria. The room was very small (about 4x8 ft). The bathroom was especially miniscule. It had a shower at one end which occupied the width of the bathroom followed by a toilet then a bidet and then the sink. There were 10 inches from the wall to the edge of the toilet...... expedia.com
Great Place to stay on a Budget - user review If you are looking to stay in Rome on a budget this is the place to stay! The hotel appears to have been recently renovated. Nice hotel and lobby! Good customer service! - user review March, 2007 Apparently, there had been a plumbing flood prior to our arrival, so the hotel had arranged for us to stay at another very nice hotel even closer to the major sights. We were impressed with the customer service at the Astoria in that they had already made other arrangements for us, and a... expedia.com

Very nice... - user review This hotel was a perfect 1st stop for us on our trip to Italy. It's about 3 blocks away from Termini Station and although not right in the middle of city, there were plenty of great restaraunts and sites to see in the area. The room was a bit small, but the hotel was maintained very well, the people... expedia.com
Very cute and convinient - user review This hotel was great. Although my room was a bit small, it was very clean and freshly renovated, as is the entire hotel. Excellent Value - user review We (Mum 2 Teens) found the location close to Termini VERY useful. Every sight could be reached in minutes via subway, many could be walked to even for those non hikers. In addition, bookstore, fast food and supermarket that close proved to be valuable assets. Staff was reasonably friendly, rooms imp... expedia.com

Comfortable, just like home. - user review While staying here March 07, our experience was excellant. The front desk and bell captain was always available and welcomed us each time we walked in the door. The breakfast was as expected in Europe. Below average comfort - user review While the hotel is conveniently located near the Termini rail station, there is little else to recommend it. The rooms and bathrooms, while clean, are cramped and noisy. The mattresses and pillows are cheap and hard as a rock .
