Ljubac is a village with a population of 700 with the medieval church of St. Ivan and the parish church dating from the 19th century. The Illyrian citadel Venae is situated above the village. Some 13th century documents mention several monasteries. The village has a beach with a total length of more than 4 km. The differences between ebb and flow are considerably more marked here than anywhere else on the Adriatic, sometimes amounting to more than 1 meter. | |
