| Trpanj is a coastal tourist place on the peninsula of Peljesac with a population of 660 at an elevation of 4 m. It was once an important harbor. It is mentioned in the year 1344 in the documents found in Dubrovnik. Excavations from the Roman and other colonization epochs were found in the vicinity of the place. In the beautiful Beoce cove there are findings of the curative sea mud. The old part of the place has a fort. | |
